“When the sun can’t shine its own light anymore; broken; thrown away; left out; blacked out; what could it possibly do? Life is meant to shine, but if everybody shines the same light —Like the sun— who wil be the moon instead? My essay will take you in a roller-coaster ride, it will show you how it passes its relay stick upon a running race. It will tell you that it is okay to “light down” for a while in order to shine back up brighter than we ever did.

2nd Winner

“Even after all this time the Sun never says to the Earth: “You owe me.”

Look what happens with a love like that: it lights the whole sky.

― Hafiz, Persian poet
